The property includes two separate buildings- the original villa, which dates back to the 14th century, and a spacious guesthouse sleeping six.
The main villa is a beautifully restored farmhouse with vaulted ceilings and exposed brick. The oldest part dates back to the 14th century when it was believed to be a convent. It has been carefully renovated, retaining original features such as the vaulted ceilings, wood beams, and original stonework, with the addition of warm colors reflective of the landscape, comfortable furnishings, and modern design touches.
The main villa is divided into two residences, each with a kitchen, offering privacy for larger groups but also comfortable seating and dining areas suitable for the entire party to share. The lower residence sleeps four with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms . The upper residence sleeps seven with three double bedrooms, one children’s room with 2 bunk beds, and three bathrooms.
The guest house is 60m down the hill and has been cleverly designed using local materials to reflect the historical style of the main villa. The top floor has two double bed rooms and one master bathroom and features a kitchen with modern appliances and wood burning fireplace. The first is a separate efficiency style apartment with its own kitchen which sleeps two. Inside, soft colours, local materials and lots of comfortable spaces are perfectly put together. The guest house also has a terrace offering majestic views of the surrounding hills and an outdoor fireplace. Below the guest house is a small gym facility, 2-person sauna, and wine-cellar and tasting room.
